Shock Admission: Slot Claims Controversial Liverpool Goal Was Wrongly Disallowed!
Liverpool manager Arne Slot said his side should have been awarded an equaliser in their 3-0 defeat at Manchester City.
Erling Haaland had headed City ahead before Virgil van Dijk headed in a corner to bring the champions level.
But the goal was ruled out, with left-back Andy Robertson ruled to be in an offside position as the ball hit the net.
“I think it is obvious and clear the wrong decision has been made,” Slot told Sky Sports.
“He (Robertson) didn’t interfere at all with what the goalkeeper can do. Immediately after the game someone showed me a goal the same referee allowed for City against Wolves last season.”
