Steve Sarkisian Uncovers Shocking NIL Impact Sabotaging Texas Football’s Biggest Growth Opportunity
It would be hard-pressed to find many college football coaches who have favorable things to say about the impact of Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL). But Texas football coach Steve Sarkisian has a specific complaint about the controversial system.
While on Marshawn Lynch and Mike Robinson’s ‘Get Got’ podcast, Sarkisian laid out one of the many flaws in the new era of college football.
“So I got a $20 million roster. I got to pay a quarterback, that’s going to play. I’ve got to pay an elite receiver or two, if you want to be really good. I got to pay a pass rusher or two. I got to pay a running back,” Sarkisian said.
