Surprising Twist: 3-Star CB Shocks Recruiters by Choosing Indiana Over Missouri and Rutgers
Following an official visit to Bloomington on June 12, three-star cornerback Ramir Harris-Dupree announced his commitment to Indiana on Saturday.
Harris-Dupree, a Class of 2027 prospect from Grimsley High School in Greensboro, North Carolina, is ranked by 247Sports as the No. 98 cornerback in the class. Rivals lists him as a three-star recruit, while 247Sports also ranks him No. 106 at cornerback, No. 40 overall in North Carolina, and No. 1,184 nationally.
Harris-Dupree chose the Hoosiers over Missouri, Rutgers, and Louisville, while he also held offers from Virginia Tech, Buffalo, Charlotte, Coastal Carolina, East Carolina, Eastern Michigan, Georgia Southern, James Madison, Liberty, Old Dominion, Temple, Tulsa, UConn, Western Michigan, Campbell, Elon, Gardner-Webb, and North Carolina A&T. He reportedly had 22 offers and took only three official visits to Indiana, Missouri, and Rutgers.
