TCU’s Ruthless Clapback at Texas Tech’s Brendan Sorsby Sparks Intense Rivalry Firestorm

The college football landscape erupted into pure chaos following a Texas judge’s decision to grant Texas Tech football Red Raiders quarterback Brendan Sorsby a temporary injunction. The ruling bypasses an NCAA ban, restoring Sorsby’s eligibility despite his admission to placing thousands of sports bets, including at least 40 wagers on his own Indiana Hoosiers football team in 2022.

In response to the massive backlash and threats of a scheduling boycott from rival athletic directors, Texas Tech University administration released a hefty, 21-minute video defending the school’s handling of the situation. Texas Tech leadership sat around a table to justify keeping their new signal-caller on the roster.

However, Big 12 Conference rival TCU Football was not having any of it.

The TCU football’ official X account delivered a savage, viral troll that immediately broke the internet. Side-by-side with Texas Tech’s lengthy statement video, TCU posted a classic, dismissive text meme: “I ain’t watching all that I’m happy for u tho or sorry that happened.”
