As the Tennessee football team had to deal with a decommitment from a four-star defensive lineman on Thursday, the program dealt with more frustrating news on Friday. While the Tennessee football program continues to try to land recruits, there was one player who had to be dismissed from the roster due to medical reasons.
According to Pete Nakos and Chris Low of On3 Sports, the Volunteers have “medically disqualified” pass-rusher Chaz Coleman from the team after missing summer workouts and the second half of spring practice. On3 Sports even reported that he “missed his report day” for voluntary summer workouts, which started earlier in June.
