Texas Stuns Nation, Snatches Elite 4-Star EDGE from Georgia and Auburn in Shocking Recruiting Coup
This is the 14th commitment for the Longhorns’ 2027 class. Garrer is the eighth four-star recruit to commit to Texas. Steve Sarkisian is doing well with recruiting for the 2027 class, as the program ranks 10th nationally on On3 Sports’ lists and is currently No. 4 in the SEC.
That makes two key defensive linemen commitments the Longhorns have landed recently. Texas acquired Kasi Currie on Thursday, beating out Georgia once again, the Ohio State Buckeyes, and the Oregon Ducks for the four-star interior defensive lineman. Sarkisian is seemingly loading up the defensive front for years to come.
