Tom Brady’s Unexpected Jab at Texas Tech Sparks Controversy in Danny Amendola Tale
Tom Brady has not been afraid to throw shade at people since he retired from the NFL. During his roast, he made fun of Peyton Manning. At a recent appearance at the roast of Kevin Hart, Brady made fun of Cowboys fans. The latest target for Brady was Texas Tech.
Brady was giving the commencement address at Georgetown University, and in his speech, he spoke about Danny Amendola and also took a shot at Texas Tech.
“Danny went undrafted out of Texas Tech. He was cut by three NFL teams. He wasn’t the tallest, he wasn’t the fastest, but he had a huge heart and he played his ass off in the biggest moments,” Brady told the graduates. “And, I hope you guys find colleagues like Danny. Having business school friends is great, don’t get me wrong, but sometimes you need a kid from a glorified community college who can bail your ass out of any jam. If you want to achieve great things, surround yourself with people like him.”
