Top 4-Star CB’s Shocking Commitment to Nebraska Sends Rival Schools Reeling
Nebraska football has been stuck in neutral to a degree under head coach Matt Rhule, but the Cornhuskers started to get things moving in the right direction in 2025. Now, Rhule and his staff are building a strong core for the future.
On Tuesday, Nebraska got a big commitment in the class of 2027 on the defensive side of the ball. Four-star cornerback Jailen Hill chose Nebraska over some of the top programs in the Big Ten, such as Indiana and Washington, per Hayes Fawcett of On3 Sports.
Indiana has become an extremely formidable obstacle for the entire Big Ten when it comes to recruiting, so Hill was clearly buying what Rhule was selling. He is the type of recruit who can help get Nebraska to where the Hoosiers are in the conference hierarchy.
