Kyle Whittingham and the Michigan Wolverines flipped a player from the Alabama Crimson Tide, earning the commitment of Colt Lumpris.
Lumpris announced his commitment to the Wolverines on Saturday, per On3 insider Hayes Fawcett. Hailing from Lawrenceville, Ner Jersey, he originally committed to the Crimson Tide last December before changing course this month.
Lumpris stands out as a three-star prospect with an 89 score on 247Sports. He ranks sixth among players in the state of New Jersey and 16th among tight ends. His composite score of 0.9085 puts him in four-star territory, ranking sixth, 16th and 289th nationally in those respective categories.
