Tragedy Strikes Ben Hill Griffin Stadium: Shocking Incident Leaves Florida Football Community Reeling
College football is approaching its official Week 1 kickoff after Week 0 ushered in the start of the FBS and FCS seasons. However, a tragic event struck the University of Florida campus this past weekend.
Reports indicate that a Florida man died after jumping from the top of the University of Florida’s Ben Hill Griffin Stadium. There are still few answers as local police investigate the incident. Officers reportedly attempted to intervene and speak with the man before he ultimately made the devastating decision.
