He began his prep career at Vicksburg High School, later attended Hillcrest Christian, and finished at Holmes County Central, where he starred as a dual-threat quarterback. During his senior season, Wyatt threw for 1,226 yards and 14 touchdowns while adding 150 rushing yards and another score.
After high school, Wyatt made the transition from quarterback to defensive back at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. As a freshman in 2021, he appeared in eight games, recording 12 tackles, one tackle for loss and an interception.
