Tulane Faces Shocking Setback: Star Tailback’s Future Suddenly in Doubt
Tulane lost nearly two dozen players to the transfer portal after Jon Sumrall left for Florida. One of the players who remained was star running back Jamauri McClure. McClure missed the start of the season due to an injury.
Now, another update on the running back has been given, according to Pete Thamel of ESPN.
“Tulane will again be without star tailback Jamauri McClure against Southern Miss this weekend. He’s yet to play this season, as he’s dealing with a foot injury. Tulane is optimistic about McClure’s return for American Conference play at Army on Oct. 10, as the Green Wave have a bye next week,” Thamel posted on X, formerly Twitter.
