Unbelievable Power Surge: The Day MLB Exploded with Record-Breaking Home Runs

T-1. 4 – Eugenio Suarez, Arizona Diamondbacks (April 26, 2025 vs. Atlanta Braves)
Suarez belted three solo shots and one two-run homer all to left and left-center at Chase Field in Arizona. His fourth dinger not only put him in the record book, but it also tied the game in the ninth inning off Braves closer Raisel Iglesias. Despite Suarez’s performance, Atlanta would go on to win the game 8-7 in 10 innings.

T-1. 4 – J.D. Martinez, Arizona Diamondbacks (Sept. 4, 2017 vs. Los Angeles Dodgers)
Martinez hit a two-run run homer in the fourth, then proceeded to hit a solo shot in each of the final three innings to cap off a 13-0 routing of the D-backs’ division rival Dodgers. The midseason acquisition averaged nearly a home run every two games for Arizona, ultimately ending the season with 45 home runs.
