Chicago Bulls: 1995-96 (14.37 TRACR)
The only question was going to be which of the Michael Jordan-led Bulls teams was the best, right? Of course, it was the 1995-96 club that set the record (at the time) with 72 wins. Those Bulls finished a ridiculous 14.37 points per 100 possessions better than the average team over that season. According to our model, it was the greatest season any team has had since 1986-87. In case you’re wondering, the 1996-97 Bulls are fifth on our list (12.02 TRACR), while the 1991-92 team ranks seventh (11.25).
