Unexpected Turn: High-Profile Penn State Commit Abruptly Drops Out—What’s Behind the Shock Exit?
Penn State football will have to pivot once again this week after another one of their commitments flipped schools. This time, three-star cornerback Zachary Gleason flipped to West Virginia, according to Hayes Fawcett of On3. Gleason had committed to Penn State in March.
Gleason took a visit to West Virginia a week before he came to Penn State, and now he’ll be the only cornerback commit for the program. Gleason had offers from Boston College, Cal, Cincinnati, Indiana, Kentucky, Liberty, Michigan State, North Carolina and many others.
