USC has high aspirations for the 2026 season. As the team prepared for the new season, there has been plenty of talk around USC quarterback Jayden Maiava and the new receivers for the Trojans.

If USC is going to make a run to the playoffs, then they need the running game to thrive as well. If fall camp is any indication of how the running back room looks, USC is set for a great year, according to Pete Nakos of On3.

Waymond Jordan leads the way. He was solid last year, running for 576 yards and five touchdowns. He also had two games of rushing for over 150 yards, but he played in just six games before needing season-ending surgery. Jordan needed tightrope surgery in October and is back to full health. According to those at camp, he “looks like he did last year.”
