Why South Carolina QB LaNorris Sellers Is Trading the Gridiron for a Golf Course This Fall Semester

Sellers is employed at Par Tee Golf Center in nearby West Columbia. The links also keeps him away from the classroom on the South Carolina campus. Because Sellers doesn’t have a regular class schedule like the rest of his teammates.

Instead, Sellers is using the golf center for his required internship before officially graduating. It’s all part of his sports and entertainment management degree he’s pursuing.

So what duties does Sellers perform when he’s not dissecting defenses and going after them with his arm and legs? He’s performing the traditional labor involved with golf course workers: Picking up golf balls from the range, plus cutting grass.
