4-Star WR’s Shocking LSU Commitment Sends Miami Reeling—What’s Next?
Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) Chaminade-Madonna Prep four-star wide receiver Ah’Mari Stevens has decided to head to Baton Rouge, switching his commitment from the Miami Hurricanes to the LSU Tigers on Friday. The 5-foot-10, 165-pounder had been pledged to Miami since January 2025 before changing direction following an official visit to LSU’s campus.
The visit proved to be influential, with the Tigers’ staff making a strong and lasting impression. Stevens had previously identified LSU, Georgia, Tennessee, and Texas as programs pushing hardest to flip him, but in the end, it was the Tigers who won the battle. The Hurricanes and Stevens mutually moved on, clearing the path for his commitment.
