4-Star WR’s Shocking LSU Commitment Sends Miami Reeling—What’s Next?

Stevens becomes LSU’s third commitment in the 2027 cycle and its first wide receiver pledge. He joins four-star quarterback Peyton Houston and edge rusher Jaiden Bryant. Houston, a top-10 quarterback prospect, finished with 4,480 passing yards, 38 touchdowns, and a 70% completion rate during his sophomore season, giving the Tigers an early offensive foundation.

The addition is another sign of LSU’s recruiting momentum under head coach Lane Kiffin and wide receivers coach George McDonald, who helped land Stevens. The Tigers continue to host multiple high-level prospects and remain active in pursuing additional receivers, as the program looks to replenish a wide receiver room that includes 13 players but few underclassmen.
