Boise State Unveils Surprising Tribute to Kellen Moore and Ashton Jeanty That Fans Didn’t See Coming
Fifteen years after quarterback Kellen Moore last suited up for Boise State and two years since running back Ashton Jeanty’s Heisman Trophy runner-up campaign, the Broncos are honoring the two greatest players in program history on their iconic football field.
Boise State is painting the numbers of Moore and Jeanty onto the blue surface at Albertsons Stadium, but not in the way most would expect. Instead of putting a “2” and an “11” on the field, the Broncos spray-painted the hashmarks at the two-yard line and 11-yard line orange on opposite ends.
