Moore and Jeanty are the first two players to receive the spray-paint honor in Boise State football history. Neither player’s number has been officially retired, as the Broncos have only hung up Jim McMillian’s No. 12 in the stands.
Although Moore never panned out in the NFL, he is unquestionably the greatest quarterback in Boise State history, and arguably the best in college football during his four-year career. The six-foot gunslinger is the team’s all-time leading passer with 14,667 career passing yards and 142 touchdowns.
