Cowboys Shock NFL with Record-Breaking $28 Million Deal for Kicker Brandon Aubrey—What This Means for the Season
The Dallas Cowboys have rewarded All-Pro kicker Brandon Aubrey by making him the highest-paid player at his position.
Dallas signed Aubrey to a four-year, $28 million contract extension that includes $20 million guaranteed, according to the team. The deal sets a new benchmark for NFL kickers.
At an average of $7.25 million per year, Aubrey’s contract falls short of the $10 million annually he was reportedly seeking. The Cowboys had initially offered a deal worth under $7 million per year, despite indicating they were willing to make him the highest-paid kicker.
