The scheme involved registering businesses in Georgia with company names closely related to the players’ names or initials. Davis and Evins would then open bank accounts and fraudulent email addresses before obtaining fake identification documents. The duo would then contact loan brokers, using the falsified documents. Davis would attend the loan closing in full disguise.
