Georgia Football Spring Game Shocker: Unexpected Standouts and Surprising Setbacks Revealed!
Winner: Georgia’s quarterback depth
Several different Georgia quarterbacks flashed potential during the spring game outside of senior starting quarterback Gunner Stockton. Ryan Puglisi was the second-string quarterback. He went eight for 19 for 86 yards and took a pair of sacks. He was not Georgia’s most impressive passer.
Ryan Montgomery showed some flashes. He threw for a game-high 132 passing yards, but had an interception. Georgia’s quarterback room goes five-deep with redshirt freshman Hezekiah Millender completing nine of 15 passes for 103 yards and adding a rushing touchdown. Freshman early enrollee Bryson Beaver flashed arm strength and mobility in a nine of 13 for 101 yards and touchdown performance.
