How Cam Robinson’s Arrival at Left Tackle Could Finally Transform the Browns’ Offensive Line Forever
The Browns’ offensive line is the biggest uncertainty on Todd Monken’s roster as free agency approaches. While some players like Wyatt Teller have indicated they won’t be back, we’re still awaiting word on others. One of the guys who hasn’t been tenured long with the team, but is set to hit the open market, is Cam Robinson.
How and When They Joined the Browns
When Dawand Jones suffered a season-ending injury last year, the Browns went out and acquired veteran offensive tackle Cam Robinson. Robinson was originally a second-round pick by the Jaguars in 2017, and had signed a 1-year, $12 million deal with the Texans last offseason. At the end of September, the Browns traded a 2027 sixth-round pick for him, in an attempt to try to salvage the position.
