How Cam Robinson’s Arrival at Left Tackle Could Finally Transform the Browns’ Offensive Line Forever
Productivity Level Last Season & What the Browns Should Do
Robinson did what he needed to do last season as far as reps go, starting 12 games. He was banged up a couple of times mid-game, but would ultimately return.

Unfortunately, Robinson’s production was underwhelming most of the time. Despite not having a ton of pass blocking snaps compared to other offensive linemen, he still ranked among the worst in the league in terms of pressures and sacks allowed. Penalties also seemed to be a frequent problem for him.
I think it made sense to acquire Robinson last year, but it didn’t work out. The team has holes across all of the line, but re-signing Robinson doesn’t help them get better. The team hopes to have Dawand Jones back in the fold as he comes back from injury, although it’s unclear if he would slot in at right tackle while the team invests in a left tackle through the draft.
