On Friday, three-star wide receiver Majay Thompson from Shelby, North Carolina, committed to Florida State, choosing the Seminoles over Alabama, Georgia, and Wake Forest in the 2027 recruiting class. Thompson announced his commitment during a ceremony at his high school, becoming part of Florida State’s #Tribe27 class.
Thompson, standing at 5-foot-11 and weighing 180 pounds, is ranked as the No. 986 overall player nationally, the No. 136 wide receiver, and the No. 32 prospect in North Carolina according to Rivals industry rankings.
