As a junior at Crest High School, Thompson finished with 53 receptions for 865 yards and 13 touchdowns, averaging 16.3 yards per catch. Thompson’s recruitment featured more than two dozen offers from major programs, with the Crimson Tide, Bulldogs, and Demon Deacons emerging as his final contenders.
