Kentucky RB Reveals Shocking Injury Secrets Following Brutal Alabama Showdown
Kentucky hosted Alabama to open SEC play last Saturday. Kentucky head coach Will Stein urged fans to come out in droves and even sneak in flasks. It worked for a half, as Kentucky led 17-13 at the end of the first half, but Alabama would go on to win 45-17.
Now, as the team looks to rebound from the loss, they are getting an injury update on running back CJ Baxter, per Ethan DeWitt of A Sea of Blue.
Baxter, who transferred from Texas to become the lead back at Kentucky, was dealing with a finger injury all day. His finger popped out of its socket multiple times and kept him coming on and off the field. He practiced on Monday, taking all his expected reps with his fingers taped.
