Knicks’ Championship Surge Sparks Unexpected Drama at Jordyn Woods and Karl-Anthony Towns’ Wedding

It’s not easy winning a NBA championship and getting married in the same offseason.

The Knicks’ championship run in June didn’t give Karl-Anthony Towns and Jordyn Woods much time to plan their nuptials, which took place on Aug. 15 in Malibu — and Woods took over planning Towns’ wedding look, the model shared in an interview published Monday with Vogue.

“So Karl is in this thing called the NBA Finals so he didn’t have time to design his looks. He knew he wanted a Ralph Lauren suit, [and] I took it from there,” said Woods, who wore three custom wedding looks by Danielle Frankel.

” I actually got a swatch of the [Italian] silk from Danielle’s team, dropped it off to Ralph, and I said, ‘Can you please match his suit jacket to this?'”
