The couple, who met through mutual friends in Los Angeles in 2017, began dating in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic, and Towns popped the question on Christmas Eve in 2025.
“Karl said, ‘I want to get married this summer,'” Woods recalled. “With his job, he only has summer to get married, so I knew, ‘OK, this summer means I have such a short window.'”
