Michigan’s Kyle Whittingham Drops Shocking Final Decisions on Bryce Underwood and Jason Beck Ahead of Crucial Penn State Clash
Michigan’s offense has been dreadful over the course of the season, and it is the main culprit for the Wolverines sitting at 3-2 after back-to-back losses to Iowa and Minnesota. Michigan is gaining just over 315 yards per game this season, good for the fourth-worst mark among power conference teams. Its scoring average of just 23 points per game — boosted by a 52-point performance in a win over UTEP — is also well below average.
While Beck has rightfully taken some of the blame for those struggles, a brunt of the criticism has fallen on the shoulders of Underwood. The former No. 1 overall recruit is completing less than 60% of his passes with just 881 yards, five touchdowns and four interceptions in five games.
