Nebraska’s Unbelievable Losing Streak Deepens in Heartbreaking Indiana Showdown—Can It Ever End?
The loss to the Indiana Hoosiers on Saturday extends a bonkers 10-year streak in Nebraska Cornhuskers football history.
The Nebraska Cornhuskers fell 20-17 to the No. 7 Indiana Hoosiers on Saturday after failing to hold the lead in the fourth quarter. It was a tough loss that was closely contested throughout and continued a rather unfortunate streak for the program.
Reports indicate that the Week 6 loss is the 30th consecutive loss for the Cornhuskers against a ranked opponent, according to Ross Dellenger of Yahoo! Sports. This is the 10th straight season Nebraska has not been able to earn a win over a ranked team.
