This game nearly belonged to the Cornhuskers, but the Hoosiers outscored them 14-7 in the final quarter of the game. Nebraska had more than one opportunity in the final minutes to pull off the upset, however, Indiana’s defense stepped up when it mattered most to close out the game.
Nebraska quarterback Anthony Colandrea had a solid outing in this one, finishing the contest with 278 passing yards, 47 rushing yards, and a rushing touchdown while completing 58.1% of his pass attempts. He also threw one interception on the day.
