Ole Miss Shocks Rivals with Surprise 4-Star LB Commitment—Could This Change Everything?

Culpepper hands Ole Miss a Georgia talent, as he stars for Troup County in LaGrange. He hands Golding and his staff the nation’s No. 14 overall linebacker, plus the 15th-ranked prospect in the Peach State. Assistant coach Lou Spanos helped Golding with securing the verbal commitment of Culpepper.

Auburn originally was courting Culpepper the hardest. He visited the campus during the weekend of May 20, even telling Jeffrey Lee of On3/Rivals that he had a blast on the visit.

“We were running around the buildings and stuff. I felt like a kid again for just a moment. It was fun. The food was great. Everything was great,” Culpepper explained. “It gave a family atmosphere. It gave what it’s supposed to give, especially when you want people to come together and have fun.”
