Four-star tight end Cooper Terwilliger verbally chose the Nittany Lions for the 2027 class, making his decision on April 13. Terwilliger even turned down Notre Dame for Campbell and the Lions. He brings a 6-foot-5, 235-pound athletic frame over to State College for the future.
Montgomery now becomes the 13th verbal commitment for this current class being put together by the ex-Iowa State head coach.
