Shocking Twist in St. Louis Blues’ Future: Is Jordan Binnington on the Trade Block This Season?
NHL Rumors: Pittsburgh Penguins, and the St. Louis Blues
Dave Pagnotta: “I think it’s really going to depend on how their season goes, and we get close to that March 1st trade deadline, and they’re out of the playoff picture. Then certainly, I think they take a strong look at the market and see what’s available to them in terms of dangling Binnington.
Conversely, if they’re in the thick of it, you run with it. And unless you’re getting an offer that you just can’t refuse, if the tandem’s doing well for the rest of the season, you’re in the thick of the playoff race. You don’t want to mess with too much because of the obvious.
