Son of 1998 National Champion Makes Shocking Transfer to LSU—What This Means for the Team’s Future
LSU added another quarterback to its roster on Friday night as Middle Tennessee State transfer Kaden Martin announced his commitment to the Tigers via Instagram. Martin becomes the fourth quarterback addition of the offseason for LSU under first-year head coach Lane Kiffin.
Martin’s arrival in Baton Rouge also reunites him with his father, Tee Martin, who currently serves as an offensive analyst for the Tigers. Tee Martin was the quarterback of the 1998 Tennessee Volunteers team that won the national championship and SEC title. He joined LSU’s staff in March after previously working as a quarterbacks coach in the NFL with the Baltimore Ravens for five seasons.
