Four-star offensive tackle Jimmy Kalis announced his commitment Friday to the Ohio State Buckeyes during a live broadcast on Rivals’ YouTube channel. The Pittsburgh (Pa.) Central Catholic standout selected Ohio State over finalists that included Georgia, Clemson, Texas, Miami, and LSU.
Kalis is rated as the No. 234 overall prospect and the No. 21 offensive tackle in the 2027 class according to the Rivals Industry Ranking. Measuring between 6-foot-6 and 6-foot-8 and weighing between 280 and 290 pounds, he brings prototypical size to a recruiting group that now features 10 commitments.
