On the field, Kalis helped anchor a Central Catholic team in 2025 that averaged 40.8 points per game. The Vikings went undefeated in Class 6A play, finished 13-2 overall, captured the WPIAL title with a 42-7 win over North Allegheny, and advanced to the PIAA championship game. Individually, he earned all-conference second-team honors.
Kalis also brings a strong football pedigree. His father, Todd, played eight NFL seasons with the Minnesota Vikings, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Cincinnati Bengals, while his brother Kyle played as a lineman for the Washington Redskins, Indianapolis Colts, Cleveland Browns, and Oakland/Las Vegas Raiders from 2017-2020.
