UCLA has received a commitment from Trent Hendrick in the College Football Transfer Portal, per Brian Jones of On3.
Hendrick played four years for James Madison, including the last two seasons under Chesney. He was in NFL minicamps with both the Kansas City Chiefs and Cleveland Browns after finishing his four years at JMU. In his final year with the Dukes, he was named the Sun Belt Conference Defensive Player of the Year. He racked up 106 tackles with seven tackles for a loss, three sacks, two forced fumbles, and three pass breakups.
