Earlier in the game, Tennessee fans enjoyed another memorable Parton moment. During a break, “I Will Always Love You” played throughout Neyland Stadium. Granville said that 102,000 fans sang along, creating a special atmosphere in the stadium.
The Vols maintained their strong play, winning 56-9 over Furman to start the 2026 season. While the win was worth celebrating, the tributes to Parton made the afternoon even more special.
It’s not clear yet if “My Tennessee Mountain Home” will become Tennessee’s regular fourth-quarter song. But for one afternoon, Dolly Parton’s music gave Vols fans a new and memorable tradition at Neyland Stadium.
