Duke HC Manny Diaz Secures Massive Contract Extension—But What’s the Surprising Catch?
The Duke Blue Devils’ football program hopes to remain competitive for the long-term after winning the ACC Title just this last season. To do so, the program is giving head coach Manny Diaz a new contract extension.
Reports indicate that Diaz, who is 52 years old, is signing an extension that keeps him with the Blue Devils through the 2032 season, according to college football Insider Matt Fortuna. With a career 39-24 record and an ACC Title under his belt, Duke is going all in on Diaz. The financials of the deal are currently unknown.
