Missouri Star Ahmad Hardy Faces Shocking Setback: Will He Miss Entire 2026 Season?
Missouri running back Ahmad Hardy is not expected to be available when the Tigers open the 2026 season, as he continues recovering from a gunshot wound to his leg suffered in Mississippi in May, according to ESPN’s Pete Thamel.
“Sources: Missouri star running back Ahmad Hardy will not be available for the start of the season, as he still hasn’t practiced for the Tigers. The target for his return is mid-September, as he continues to rehab and recover from his gun shot wound,” Thamel wrote on X (formerly Twitter) on Saturday.
