The injury occurred late in the contest against the Tar Heels when Leonard Moore collided with North Carolina tight end Jelani Thurman. His head came in contact with Thurman’s shoulder and was attended to by trainers almost immediately. Moore got up and walked off the field under his own power and did not return to the game.
