Notre Dame’s Leonard Moore Injury Sparks Mystery: Will He Miss Just One Week or More?
If he is to miss time, Notre Dame would likely rely on sophomore Mark Zackery IV to step into the starting role. The good news is that Stanford is not the most competitive program this year, so the Fighting Irish can probably afford not to play with Moore on the field.
Leonard Moore has been a starter in Marcus Freeman’s program since 2024 as a true freshman. He has 31 games under his belt and has been a solid contributor in the secondary. Through five games played so far this season, Moore has recorded eight tackles and four pass deflections.
