Paul Finebaum Drops Bombshell: Texas Tech QB Brendan Sorsby’s Gambling Scandal May Unveil Darker Secrets
One of the biggest stories of the transfer portal this offseason was Brendan Sorsby moving to Texas Tech. Now, there is a question on if he will ever play a down for the Red Raiders as Sorsby has entered treatment for gambling addiction.
As more information is coming out about Sorsby leaving the program, Paul Finebaum has a warning about the scandal, appearing on Get Up on ESPN.
“I believe this is the tip of an iceberg,” Finebaum opened up with. “This is a story a lot of people have been waiting to happen. It was a couple of years ago that the head baseball coach at Alabama bet on games. He was fired immediately. The story went away. But this is such a big story. I called Danny Sheridan last night, the well-known sports handicapping expert. He told me 75 percent of male college students bet on sports, and more than 25 percent, according to his research, of athletes.”
