Paul Finebaum Drops Bombshell: Texas Tech QB Brendan Sorsby’s Gambling Scandal May Unveil Darker Secrets
Sorsby reportedly placed thousands of bets online on a variety of sports, using different gambling apps. This would have been done prior to turning 21 years old, which is the minimum legal age to place a wager in both Ohio and Indiana. Further, he reportedly placed a bet on Indiana to win a game when sitting as a redshirt freshman at Indiana. This will put his eligibility in jeopardy.
According to NCAA guidelines, “student-athletes who wager on their own games or on other sports at their own schools” face “permanent loss of collegiate eligibility in all sports.”
