Texas A&M’s Daymion Sanford Faces Uncertain Future After Mysterious Spring Game Injury and Surgery
The injury occurred during last weekend’s spring game when Sanford combined with defensive tackle DJ Hicks to bring down walk-on running back Ramarian Tillman for a four-yard gain late in the second quarter. Medical staff evaluated him on the field, placed an air cast on his lower left leg, and carted him off. Following the injury, Texas A&M ended the scrimmage early with 1:46 remaining in the second quarter. Sanford finished with four tackles and a quarterback hurry in the Maroon team’s 15-13 win.
