White would be drafted in the second round of the 2009 NFL Draft by the Miami Dolphins, but never made it in the NFL. He would become a coach in 2018, joining the Alcorn State staff as the quarterbacks coach. In 2025, he joined his former coach as the assistant quarterbacks coach and assistant to the head coach at West Virginia. Now, as he coaches at WVU, he knows no one will ever wear his number five again.
